Fano is the third largest city of the Marche by number of inhabitants (over 60000), is located in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, facing directly on the Adriatic Sea. The center of the city, enclosed by the ancient Roman walls, with entrance from the imposing arch of Augustus, has the entrance reserved for pedestrians only. For those arriving by car it is advisable to deposit the car in the parking spaces: Vanvitelli car park-parking ex-barracks-parking via Indipendenza. After you have taken a tour in the center go to the discovery of Fano underground : A city under the city. If you would like to spend a day at the sea, we recommend the Bagni Carlo Fano or in one of the Lido beaches with a visit to the Green bar Fano .
